My Mulatto Experience
When I look in the mirror, I see my mother’s nose, lips, and mouth, the hair of my father’s family, and the skin tone of both mixed together evenly. I see a product of two cultures that have never quite been able to understand each other. A link between the two. I see a beautiful Mulatto child. However, I didn’t always see this.
